Spring Trends (that you can actually wear)
Frilly Blouses - Elegant blouses or ruffles at the sleeve or collar add color and texture to pants, jeans, or skirts.
White Pants - Clean, crisp white should be on everyone’s list, and they’re available in every price range.
Wedges - Height with comfort? Genius!
Florals - Wear on dresses or tops, in big prints or small ones – just pair them with an edgy shoe.
One-Shoulder Dresses - Wear for cocktails or evenings.
Bell Bottoms/Wide Leg Pants or Jeans - These add length and create a smooth line. Just don’t pair them wear with a flowy top, or the outfit could overwhelm you.
Spring’s Best Accessories
Metallics - Glam gold in matte and glossy finishes really shines.
COLOR - Be bold in your bags, shoes, and jewelry. We love navy and shocking pink, yellow with everything, and all the strong colors of the rainbow – sorbet shades!
Nudes - Beige, white, and khaki are the perfect compliment to colorful outfits.
Clutches - These will make any outfit chic for evening. Carry an oversized clutch for day.
Bright Tote - It’s the perfect splash of color for any spring ensemble. If you’re wary of donning floral prints, get them on a bag!
Gold Cuffs or Wood Bangles - Bracelets are fun way to accesorize without covering your neckline.
Aviators - These shades add softness style to your beachwear.
Chic Shapes/Statement Necklace - Chunky necklaces are always a great addition to any outfit, and this season’s geometric styles are striking.
Big Belts - Flatter your waist with a cincher!
Gladiator Sandals - There are so many inexpensive pairs to chose from, and they instantly add style.
Quick and Easy Styling Tips
- Wear necklaces with plain necklines (no detail) when your neck is exposed
- Wear bracelets if you can’t wear necklaces – wear bangles, or wrap a long necklace around your wrist.
- Gold shoes look great with black, navy, brown, etc.
- Three-quarter sleeve white (or color) tees worn underneath a dress can make it more casual, or pair with boots to make a summer dress warmer for colder weather.
- Color is good – even if it’s in the accessory (shoe, belt, necklace, bag, etc.)
- Jackets and blazers worn in place of leather or denim jackets or cardigans over dresses and jeans create a chic look.
- Try to put some color in your all-black outfits.
- Wear a fitted shirt with wide-leg pants.
- A patterned shoe (flat or heel) can spruce up an all-black outfit.
- Tuck your thin shirt into high-waisted pants.
